JPM Intern Placement - Best Desks in S&T?

I'm interning in S&T (Sales track) at JP Morgan this summer and it's not a rotational program.  This month, we essentially network with members of the 20+ desks to find a good fit before being officially assigned to a desk in March.  I was wondering what the best desks are in Sales/Trading, both in general and at JPM specifically.  Whether it be culture, workload, pay, exits; any helpful input is appreciated.

I'm going into this with an open mind and I'm only avoiding FX to be honest.  All other products are of interest.

Bump, also wondering how to navigate the process down the line. Do you tell your top choices they are your top? Do they indicate the same to you?

You match the desks and the desks match you. I'd recommend taking the time and meeting with as many desks as possible. Later in the process focus on the top 2-3 desks you really want and schedule meetings with other people on the team.

Overall, you should just rank the desk you vibe with the most. It is likely that if you enjoy talking with them you will enjoy working with them. In regard to pay/exits, I would not make that high on your ranking priorities. If the desk you join doesn't have the WLB or pay that you want, you can always lateral to a different desk in a few years after you get the FT offer. The goal of the internship is to learn as much as possible on a desk you find interesting and get a FT, anything beyond that is just a bonus.
