How to prepare for Summer Internship in Fixed Income Sales

Just starting out as a chimp here. I am wondering how to kill it during my summer internship. This summer I will be interning in Frankfurt in Fixed Income Sales. I wonder how to prepare. The MD told me I would get my own terminal and would attend client meetings. Should I know the product in and out when coming to desk? I am assuming I should also familiarize myself with bloomberg terminals? Or will I be taught all of this on the job?
