Where to move in RE Debt?

I currently work at an agency lender at the associate level and am thinking about making a move to another side of RE debt. I don't want to work at a sweat shop doing 90-100 hour weeks, but I am willing to work harder than what I am doing now to get exposure to different debt products and property types. I feel like a life co might be too similar on the slower paced/mostly fixed rate stuff front. What directions would make sense?
