What is your favorite building?

For me, I'd have to say the Le Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy France. Something about a huge castle on a tiny island close to shore.

Also the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Brings be back to a different time.

P.S. Not french

Whats your favorite building? Can be both new and old. My favorite new one would have to be the shard in London

ugh seriously? I live right around there. Even knowing what it's supposed to be, I can't get on board with it.

Plus... who wants to live IN a nice looking building? I'd rather live across the street...

Neuschwanstein Castle, Visited when I was over for the G7. The place is incredible, it's literally like a fairytale castle out of Disney. If your ever in Bavaria I would strongly suggest a visit!

P.S. the backstory is quite fascinating too.

Quand on veut, on peut.

The Wawel Castle and Cathedral compound in Krakow, Poland The American Radiator Building in Bryant Park Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok's main airport) Antwerp Centraal train station All the old stations in classical style of the Moscow Metro

The Prada Marfa in Texas is a pretty interesting gag too

Right? The black and gold looks really good together, and the crown type top just caps it.

1) Red Keep, 2) Isengard, 3) The Wall (pre dragon / renovation) and 4) Pyke (Iron Islands) the fireplaces and interior design are truly elegant.

101 Collins St, Melbourne.

One from my home country, tenants include GS, JPM, TPG and so forth... Great building and amazing interior.

Ignore my Title and Industry - I can't seem to change it under 'Edit Profile' lol

I'm a fan of those old-school grand hotels, so naturally, either the Plaza (the Palm Court is gorgeous) or the Waldorf Astoria & the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto.

I wouldn't say 432 park is my favorite building, but I think it's an ironic building. It's the tallest building in ny and charges the most absurd $/sf, but looks like CIM got the most boring architecture to design it.

I think Mont-Saint-Michel is beautiful to look at, but inside it's just a tourist trap filled with shitty souvenir shops selling fake medieval weapons.
