Eastdil SF Associate - insight?
I see a few roles have opened up for associate positions in San Francisco. Anyone have insight here? Heard they did layoffs not super long time ago so any idea what the culture is right now? Are they growing? Preparing? Or backfilling?
Comp would be nice to know as well
Thanks and happy Easter!
Happy Easter to you too! While the context provided doesn't specifically mention recent layoffs or the current state of growth at Eastdil in San Francisco, it does offer some insights into the culture and compensation at Eastdil Secured, particularly in the West Coast region which includes San Francisco.
Regarding culture, insights from the WSO dataset suggest that the culture within investment banking in San Francisco, including firms like Eastdil Secured, tends to have a more relaxed vibe compared to New York, with the nicer weather contributing to this atmosphere. However, it's important to note that the culture can vary significantly from firm to firm and even within different teams at the same firm.
As for compensation, while the context doesn't provide specific numbers for Eastdil Secured associates in San Francisco, it does indicate that analyst positions at Eastdil Secured in the West Coast region (Los Angeles, SF) are competitive with the market. This suggests that Eastdil Secured aims to offer compensation that is on par with industry standards, which could likely extend to associate positions as well.
Given the dynamic nature of the industry, it's possible that Eastdil Secured's hiring for associate positions in San Francisco could be for a variety of reasons, including growth, preparation for future projects, or backfilling positions after layoffs. It's always a good idea to directly inquire about these aspects during the interview process or through networking to get the most current and specific information.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on culture and compensation, reaching out to current employees or utilizing your network for insights can be incredibly valuable. Curious to hear about general west coast real estate culture
laid back, low hours 9-6pm type of stuff. off by 3pm on fridays mostly.
At Eastdil or any major brokerage? Fat chance lol.
Hell, several of the institutional shops I've worked with from CA were regularly sending late night emails.
Eastdil has had a ton of teams get poached by other firms over the past 2 years or so. I think west coast has also been hit by this. Deal flow should be solid regardless.
A bunch of my buddies are in that office.. solid type A culture
Is Eastdil still paying 75-100% Bonus? Anyone know how YE 23 Bonus Season was for these guys?
