AEA Investors reputation and info?

Does anyone have insight opinions on AEA as an associate after IB?

Reputation, culture, pay, upward mobility, etc.

Linkedin search shows that most associates come from top- and mid-tier BBs plus some MBB which is a good signal.

Very strong UMM sponsor. Good people, good returns, and have been around forever. I believe associates get placed into one of two broad groups, industrials or consumer, with healthcare, tech, etc. done out of both so it's largely a generalist associate experience.
