Russia vs. Ukraine

Invasion for the sake of invasion is bad. Innocent people on both sides should not suffer. I find it hilarious and FUCKING absurd that they're bringing sports into this.

Is the US supporting Ukraine here, because Biden's son sits on the board of a Ukrainian company? I know folks on both sides, so I am going to refrain from putting my opinion on this, but as I said, a war for the sake of war is bad, and many innocent bystanders end up becoming collateral damage.

What do the Brads, Chads, Dicks, Chases, Patrick Batemans, Twats of WSO think about this?

This is a 5 point question. Discuss.

Knock yourself out

Sports have always been involved. The West boycotted the 1980 Moscow Olympics and the Eastern Bloc boycotted 1984 Los Angeles.

^Check out that video to see the last time the Soviet Anthem was played at an international sporting event. The Americans are....not very chill about it. I don't find it logically absurd that they're bringing sports into it. Do I think it's the right course of action? Maybe it'll work, or maybe it'll backfire idk. But I can get the reasoning.
