How Common is Suicide in IB?
I know there have been a few cases like a GS TMT analyst, a Moelis associate, and a PJT intern. Is this relatively common and it gets swept under the rug? Tbh I'm a senior in college and pretty certain that the stress of the IB analyst gig will not end well for me.
I think the suicide rate is higher in trading due to the high volatility in some positions.
I think it is more frequent in financial services generally, not just in IB. Purely from memory I believe it was worse a few years ago, better now?

Growing up in a culture where (teenage) suicide was very common, I found the overall situation improved after work life began for me.
