Hello, Poss. Career Change (UK)

Hello all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm ST and I'm looking at a career change, I currently work in a completely unrelated field within Hospitality (currently in management role) and I'm studying at the OU, Business (Econ Pathway), with the aim of going to LSE or Oxbridge for a Masters. I'm only studying at the OU as unfortunately I had to cut my time short at uni due to personal tragedies which left me unable to focus.

Is it worth continuing along these lines as I'd rather try and go into IB/PE/AM after my OU course finishes but if it's better to go in this direction and go for an internship of some description before I go on to Masters?

What are my chances considering it's a career change from an unrelated field?
