Path to Sophomore IB Internship
Hello, I am an incoming freshman at a semi-target LAC. I already have a few good connections at the school and I have been told that I am way ahead of the timeline of the traditional junior summer IB internship. I have seen some people in the past get sophomore summer IB internships. What would I have to do to position myself as a competitive candidate for a sophomore summer IB internship?

For any large BB, EB or MM, it’s TYPICALLY only for diversity — both racial diversity and women. If you don’t fall into any of those categories, my recommendation would be to find a local boutique or something similar. Worked great for me! Good luck.
Do these companies usually post job listings or would it be something I would have to directly contact them about? Do they pay? How can I find these smaller boutiques?
Mix of both. The ones that I got did not have listings. However, I have seen a few listings on LinkedIn etc.
