MSF worth it?
About to have my Undergrad in finance from a non target. I have a full time position at a large bank in commercial banking. I’m thinking about getting one of those online MSF to help me pivot into IB or any high finance role. Is it worth it?
Looking at Indiana, Georgetown, Villanova online programs.
All thoughts appreciated
If you prep, network, and strategize before going into the MSF and continue your efforts during, you will get more value out of the program and transition is definitely possible.
That said, I would strongly advise you to do an on-campus program and not online. It holds more value and you can utilize more resources.
Hypothetically, you could transition without one by consistently networking, but market is pretty shit right now.
