BB S&T/IBD vs Multi-Manager Hedge Fund

Hey,

I am currently a senior analyst working in Risk at a BB outside the US (London, Hong Kong, Tokyo). Within a month, I will be internally moving to a team that sits between S&T and IBD working on Structured Finance, Mortgages etc. I have been very interested in Real Estate and this is a role that I think I will enjoy/learn from, while getting paid better. Also being outside the US, it has a lot of opportunity to grow and get involved in interesting deals. I was recommended for this role by the head of the team who I used to work with in my current role (only saying this because it is relevant later on).
Recently, out of the blue I was approached by a newly-joined PM at a multi-manager Hedge Fund (P72, Citadel, Millennium) asking if I would be interested in joining their L/S equities team. I will be meeting them soon and wanted to get this forum's views on the two roles.
While the HF role is something I had never previously considered, I understand that it is considered as a coveted end-goal for several people on this forum. I am personally leaning towards taking the one internally, but would love to hear what you guys think.

Few points about my long-term goals:
1. Want to an MBA from a top B-school someday

  1. Want to go into Infra/Energy PE someday with aim of starting my own Sustainable Infra/Energy company

So had a few questions:
1. Which role would you guys recommend me taking (if the HF one materializes)?

  1. What are some questions to ask the PM when I meet them?
  2. Is it worth burning the bridges at my current firm for the HF role?
  3. Anything I am missing?

Thanks a lot!
