Would love to see how it’s changed over the years via the way back machine
For the last 6 years I remember:
Plus I think I missed something, so yeah pretty much ruining it with every update :)
This
Bring back the old format I still can't get used to this
I think the new design is pretty slick. Feels like we've gone from Standard to "Compact" in Outlook. Less scrolling, and easier to read.
Hate this new design.
I concur... will have to wait and see how this shakes out as I'm sure feedback is being taken seriously.
I can’t fucking post on mobile.
I can't check my notifications now on mobile so annoying
this better now?
fixed
Why does the website keep getting worse? New design feels like a pre-alpha version of reddit. Can't even make posts or check notifications on mobile.
fixed
Agreed! For someone who likes to pop in on their mobile, the text is just too small now, and the most helpful content is no longer boxed, making hard to sift through trolls/bumps to arrive at actual helpful content. Plz fix!
text on mobile site now larger - easier to read now?
bump...thoughts on text size on mobile now?
Definitely better
I disagree. The new WSO is cleaner and more functional than the old “hasn’t been updated since 2005” look. I almost exclusively use the site on mobile and after todays fix the site loads much quicker and smoother on my phone. The comment function on mobile is still a little buggy.
The main issue is when I try to change the “post under your username or anonymous…” field on their phone, I have to select the target option twice. When selecting it once, I cant scroll down to the Add Comment button (it repeatedly glitches). After going back to the field and selecting target option a second time, then Im able to scroll down and press the Add Comment button.
thanks for the detailed feedback. iOS? what phone specifically? still happening?
Boomers complaining about the update are the same ones still upset their work computers were updated from windows XP.
The new look is unusual, but it loads up way faster than before. Not sure whether that's the design or a new server or something.
Hate new design. Pls fix tks
can you give more specifics please?
I'm fine with it, but where is the damn "edit post" button now???
EDIT: Just found it....hidden in "..." option. Not a huge deal. Other small thing. I did like the previous highlighted box for the top comment better than this version with the green background. Again, not the end of the world either.
nested under the three dots to the right of the other icons... it's rarely used so reduces visual clutter and easier to reach without yet another icon there...
