2nd Round - Corp Fin / Strat. investments

Tax accountant here - not yet designated (Toronto, new senior after 2 years). I do transaction (mostly sell-side) and corporate advisory, pre-close restructuring, fund extraction/recap, pre-raise/expansion reorgs, etc. Not advising from business side, just making transactions more tax efficient.

I have a 2nd round interview with an insurance company for corp fin/dev role. 1st round was entirely fit/behavioural. It was fairly long ~40min. Not sure what to expect for 2nd round? The director of the team knows I don't have a technical finance background and assured me before 1st round that it would be all behavioural (wasn't aware there would be multiple rounds). Given this, how should I prepare for 2nd round?? Should I learn more about the industry? Brush up on some technicals? I deal mostly with tech companies, and some real estate so insurance is a beast that I never touched before.

Speaking of which can someone please send me the primer on insurance industry?

How I got my job. Researched industry to gain a basic understanding of competitors and growth factors. My biggest one is I sold a few potential acquisitions I felt could be strategic tuck in acquisitions. Offered me on the spot.

Took about ten hours of research but is very minuscule time commitment, when compared to the career trajectory I'm on now.
