Internship in Bordeaux without knowing French
I am graduating with a bachelor's degree in Business in Portugal.
I want to get into a top university/business school such as HEC or LSE for a master's degree in finance, but I don't have any work experience at the moment, so I think that my chance of getting in would be quite slim.
I am considering to take a gap year to have some relevant work experience. In particular, I would love to do an internship in Bordeaux, France, since my girlfriend lives there.
Do you think it would be possible without a knowledge of French? I saw there are some big 4 offices in Bordeaux but I don't know if they would accept international applicants.
Do you think that it would be better to take a gap year and then go to a top school or to start immediately at a lower tier school such as Nova or ESADE?
Do you have any suggestions?
Do it - BDX is LIT
That would be a great opportunity to learn French honestly. Would your girlfriend teach you in the meantime? Can’t imagine you’d want to be outside of Paris without some knowledge of French. I’m curious now whether those offices in Bordeaux use English or French at work
Doesn't everyone speak Arabic now in France anyways?
