1) I don't think this belongs in the PE forum. Maybe asset management. They're "yield" investors - buy random platforms that spit cash flow. They're not active owners - more of a secondaries players. 

2) there are many ethical questions around their capital base (won't say more)

3) senior talent isn't exactly the brightest... (know from working with them 4 transactions)

4) junior talent is... lets just say interesting talent. Material mistakes in their models. Little to no professional speaking ability. (missing table stakes..) 

 

We were looking at a small streaming venture investment, and the senior associate on it was clueless - easily flustered and material mistakes in the model / presentation. Really embarrassing…
