JP Morgan SA Private Bank Orientation

Has anyone gone through the JPM Private Banking SA program? Are you familiar with this orientation? Does anyone know if there will be networking opportunities with people from other divisions? S&T in particular?

Any other advice/insight into this event is welcome and appreciated.

Thanks.

If you're in NYC you can always network with other parts of JP. But at the end of the internship they give you the opportunity to apply and interview for other areas of the firm (TS, IB and ST) and secure a FT offer.

^ What if the intern does not get a full-time offer from the area that he or she interned, does that make it near to impossible to get and offer from another area of the bank?

The obvious answer is yes, however, there have been cases wherein the group that he or she interned in did not have a spot available and thus couldn't actually give a FT offer. This person went on to secure a FT offer in a different area of the bank.

However, if you don't get an offer because you aren't good enough, then I doubt you'll have much success in the other areas. The teams talk to e/o even if they are in different business segments.
